Cheat Guide to Photoshop Art - Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What version of Photoshop will I need?
A. Mac users will require Photoshop CS6, Photoshop CC or CC2015 with the latest update. The DVD includes features not available in CC2014.
This is the same requirement for Windows users, although a work around will allow you to use these methods in any version of Photoshop from CS5 and above.
Q. Do I need a drawing tablet?
A. Although you can follow the methods using a mouse, a drawing tablet is recommended.
Since the tutorials require minimal drawing or painting, a low end tablet such as a Wacom Bamboo or Graphire will be perfectly adequate.
Q. Do you use photographs in these illustrations?
A. Yes. But unlike most paint-over methods or those cringey blurring/smearing apps that are popular today, the art you create will look like convincing hand painted illustrations.
Q. What other illustrations have you created using these cheat methods?
A. Nearly all of my recent work is created using the formula featured on this DVD. Click here to view.
Q. Do you offer a money back guarantee?
A. Yes. I offer a 30 day money back guarantee.
Anyone who has bought my previous DVDs knows that I always aim to offer a lot of content and value for your money. My work means so much to me and it is very important that you are happy with your purchase, but if you decide it's not for you let me know and I'll refund your payment (minus p&p).
Q. Is this DVD suitable for beginners?
A. Absolutely! Although it is recommended to have a basic understanding of Photoshop, the DVD is created with beginners in mind and the introduction video explains the basic tools used in the tutorials.
Q. Is it suitable for advanced Photoshop artists and digital painters?
A. Yes. I developed this formula to help take the painstaking effort out of painting and help put the fun and creativity back in art.
Although you may find the pace a little slow at times, you should be able to pick up new ways to speed up and simplify your process, enhance your digital paintings or a whole new way to go about creating your digital art.
Q. Can I make money or advance my career using these methods?
A. Absolutely! I have built a commission business painting portraits, book covers, CD and DVD covers, posters and much more and since using the cheat formula on this DVD I'm getting better results with a fraction of the time and effort.
You really can't beat working for yourself, working from home on your own schedule and doing something fun and artistic for a living!
Q. Isnít cheating unethical?
A. When it comes to art, there are no rules.
When I first started out, all digital art was painted with a mouse using only pixels. As demand increased, everyone started using more efficient methods to get faster and better results - i.e. new technology and expensive drawing tablets and more artists started using photos and 3d renders in their work. Many of us purists considered this cheating, yet they were the ones who were going on to high profile careers in movies and games, starting up their own businesses and adding incredible works to their portfolio, while we were the ones being left behind.
This DVD just gives you a new means of getting ahead and getting faster and more impressive results.
Q. Will it be obvious that I ďcheatedĒ or can I pass off my work as hand painted?
A. If you follow my methods, the finished image will look like an authentic hand painted digital illustration with no evidence of cheating. Whether you tell everyone you hand painted your works from scratch is entirely up to you.
Q. Do the tutorials come with commentary?
A. Yes. I will confess that Iím not the most eloquent speaker, but every tutorial on the DVD will have commentary and I explain every step in detail.
Q. Is there commentary in any other language?
A. Not at this time Iím afraid. All commentary is in English.
Q. Is this DVD available to buy from other sites?
A. Yes. You can currently buy the DVD from my Etsy store at:
Iím also aiming to make it available via Amazon and other outlets in the coming months.
Q. Can I copy this DVD for my friends?
A. Letís face it, Iím not going to send my lawyers after you. I just ask that you respect my efforts and not distribute this DVD to pirate sites where someone undeserving can profit from my hard work.
I am an individual artist and I put so much work and my free time into creating these DVDs and I genuinely try my best to offer helpful and detailed tutorials at an affordable price. The fee helps me cover my expenses and continue working on more tutorials.
